Meet the Flockers
EIS Fibercoating was founded in January 1985 to provide automotive companies with an alternative solution to investing in capital equipment to meet their flocking and coating needs. Flocking is the art of applying adhesive to a substrate and then imbedding flock fibers into the adhesive to create a texture for increasing durability, reducing buzz-squeak-rattle issues, or adding a luxurious feel.
Our goal has always been to provide "Excellence In Service" by flocking, coating and providing secondary finishing operations to allow our customers to compete in today's demanding market. Wherever it is possible, we automate the process of flocking to meet production needs and to eliminate human variables using custom-designed equipment ranging from semi-automation for large production volumes to single sample run capabilities for products large and small.
Our objective is to control the process so as to manufacture quality products that will meet the demanding "just-in-time" standards of today's market. The company is confident in taking on challenging projects, and also seeking to prove itself as a leader in the flocking industry. We have diverged into a variety of flocking capabilities to offer in multiple industries. 1. Object flocking includes molded plastic, rubber, or metal parts for automotive, commercial, and industrial uses. These may include medical devices, clothes hangers, or display units. 2. Extrusion flocking on rubber and plastic extrusions in both continual footage and pieces.
EIS Fibercoating can assist your company in the design of your product to enhance the quality of flocking or coatings. We can also assist in improving the ability to produce and control the quality of the product.

Our continued goal is to provide your company with the highest quality of flocking, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction. ISO certification shows our commitment to doing just that.
We became a minority-owned business in June 2013. In April 2015, EIS Fibercoating was certified as a women’s business enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest third-party certifier of the businesses owned and operated by women in the U.S.
We recognize the commitment to supplier diversity that is embraced by corporations today and we can now be part of that diversity in your supply chain.
Also a member of the American Flock Association, our company is active in educating and encouraging flock to be used as a value-added application for a variety of markets. The American Flock Association represents manufacturers of roll-to-roll coated textiles, papers, and films, as well as industry suppliers and coaters of three-dimensional objects. AFA is affiliated with The National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO) and provides positive leadership to foster a strong flock industry in North America.
